We know how hard it can be to buy the right gift. Our gift certificates are great presents for the hard-to-buy-for. Designed to be flexible, we have a number of options available to help you buy the perfect bushcraft gift.
Frontier Bushcraft offers two types of gift certificate:
- Gift Vouchers with a face value (e.g £50), redeemable against any of our courses or expeditions;
- Gift Certificates for a course or expedition, where you have booked the gift recipient onto a specific course or expedition.
Bearing our logo and with a clean and attractive design, our genuine gift certificates are A4 size. Below are two reduced-size examples.
Gift Vouchers
Any Denomination: Our gift vouchers can be bought in any demomination you would like, starting at £10 and increasing in multiples of £1. People normally go for round gift voucher amounts of £25 or £75, for example, but if you want to buy a gift voucher for £42 or £111 or any other amount, you can!
Valid for any course or expedition: If you don’t know which course or expedition is of most interest or most suitable, it’s not an issue. Frontier Bushcraft gift vouchers make a great present for anyone you know who is interested in joining a bushcraft course or wilderness expedition. You don’t need to know which course they most want to do. Their gift voucher will be redeemable against any of our courses or expeditions.
Valid for any course or expedition dates*: Don’t know which course dates suit best? No Problem. If you are in the tricky situation of knowing someone wants to do a particular bushcraft course but don’t know which of the available dates will work best for them, then a gift voucher is the solution. It’s a great way of contributing towards the cost of their course without giving away the surprise!
No peak season exclusions or other blackouts: We don’t have exclusions that state you can only apply the vouchers to off-peak courses. When we say that the vouchers are valid for any course or expedition dates, we mean it. If there is a space available on the course or expedition, you can use your voucher.
Use the voucher at any stage: Frontier Bushcraft gift vouchers can be applied against course or expedition deposits or against balance payments.
Spend vouchers on existing bookings: Already booked on a course or expedition? Perfect. Gift vouchers can be applied to existing bookings. If your friend or loved-one is already booked on a course, you can still surprise them with a gift voucher to contribute to something they obviously really want to do.
Include a personal message: If you’d like to include a personal message on the gift certificate, this is no problem. Want to say “Happy 40th Birthday” or “Merry Christmas Dad” or anything else? We can customise the gift certificate and include your message for you.
Easy to redeem: Using the gift voucher is really straightforward. Frontier Bushcraft gift vouchers come with a unique voucher code that is used on our website or over the phone. Just type in the code or tell us in person and the code automatically subtracts the value of your voucher from the price of a course or expedition.
How to Purchase a Frontier Bushcraft Gift Voucher
It really is very simple:
- Call us on 0845 259 0200;
- Tell us who the certificate is for and how much you’d like to give;
- Tell us any personal message you’d like to include;
- We create the certificate and email it to you.
*Our gift vouchers have relatively long expiry dates. Many gift vouchers expire 6 or 12 months after issue. Our expiry dates are 18 months. And remember you can use the voucher when you book – so you may be booking something even further into the future. What’s important is that the voucher is used before its expiry, not that you attend the course or expedition before expiry.
Course and Expedition Gift Certificates
If you wish to gift a specific course or expedition to someone, then a Frontier Bushcraft course or expedition gift certificate is the answer.
Choose any course or expedition: From a 1-day course to a two-week expedition, from a Walk in the Woods to a Tanzanian Bushcraft Safari, you can gift any course or expedition.
Pay only a deposit now: Just as if you were booking a course for yourself, you only need to pay a deposit until the final balance is due. For example, a deposit for a Walk in the Woods day course is less than £20…
No admin fee for transferring: If the lucky recipient of your gift certificate would rather do a different course or a different date, there is no admin charge for changing. Provided there are spaces available a transfer can be made to a course or expedition of at least equal value. All it takes is a quick phone call to arrange.
Include a personal message: If you’d like to include a personal message on the gift certificate, this is no problem. Want to say “Happy 21st Birthday” or “Happy Mother’s Day” or anything else? We can customise the gift certificate and include your message for you.
Easy to redeem: Since you’ve already booked them onto the course, the recipient of your gift just has to remember to turn up!
How to Purchase a Frontier Bushcraft Course or Expedition Voucher
Again it’s simple but you have two choices; choose whichever is most convenient for you:
Choice 1:
- Book someone onto a course via our website (enter the recipient’s details as the course participant and enter your details for email receipt, etc.);
- Call us on 0845 259 0200;
- Ask us to issue a gift certificate for the booking.
- We create the certificate and email it to you.
Choice 2:
- Call us on 0845 259 0200;
- Do everything (booking and gift certificate) over the phone.
GIFT CERTIFICATE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions (the “GC Terms”) apply to gift certificates (“GCs”) purchased from Frontier Bushcraft Limited (“Frontier Bushcraft” or “us”). Please read the GC Terms carefully before you purchase a GC.
1. GC’s can be purchased using any payment method accepted by Frontier Bushcraft by calling us on 0845 259 0200.
2. A GC can be redeemed at https://frontierbushcraft.com by inputting the coupon code during the on-line booking payment process or by calling us to make a booking on 0845 259 0200.
3. GCs can be redeemed against available courses/expeditions advertised on Frontier Bushcraft’s website only.
4. GCs cannot be used to pay for GCs.
5. GCs cannot be exchanged for cash, have no cash redemption value and are not transferable or assignable.
6. Treat your GC like cash. Lost or stolen GC’s cannot be replaced.
7. GC’s cannot be used or redeemed without the coupon code.
8. The minimum amount required to purchase a GC is £10. GCs may then be purchased in £1 increments.
9. A GC will be issued for the unused balance of any booking less than the full value of a GC, for use in a future transaction.
10. If a course/expedition booking exceeds the amount of the GC, the balance must be paid by any payment method accepted by Frontier Bushcraft.
11. GCs expire 18 months from the date of issue, where permissible under applicable law.
12. One or more GCs can be redeemed against an existing booking by visiting the Manage Booking section of Frontier Bushcraft’s website or by calling us on 0845 259 0200.
13. The usual Frontier Bushcraft Terms and Conditions of Booking and the Terms and Conditions of Website Use apply.
14. All refunds/cancellations of bookings made with a GC will be made in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Booking. This does not affect your statutory rights.
15. You must be aged over 18 to make purchases online.
16. Frontier Bushcraft is not responsible if a GC is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission.
17. Damaged, altered or cancelled GCs will not be accepted.
18. GC’s are issued in Sterling only.
19. GCs cannot be returned or refunded, except in accordance with your legal rights.
20. You will not be able to use your GC if it has expired.
21. Frontier Bushcraft reserves the right to amend these GC Terms from time to time at our sole discretion. The current conditions will be available at all times at https://frontierbushcraft.com.
22. The GC Terms are governed by the Laws of England and Wales and are subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
